Umandal credded his Cignal teammates, many of whom are part of the Alas Pilipinas men’s volleyball team, for keeping him grounded amid their streak.
“I’m lucky to be part of a team with so many great players. It really helps to have teammates who constantly communicate, support each other, and push one another to improve,” he said.
“Honestly, it’s a relief knowing that I don’t have to carry all the responsibility because everyone contributes. That motivates me even more to do my part well and stay consistent to help the team.”
For Umandal, the best is yet to come, which can only bode well for Cignal.
“This isn’t my best yet, so I’ll keep working hard to improve my game even more,” he concluded.
