MANILA, Philippines—Volleyball star Michele Gumabao and husband Aldo Panlilio said their I-dos one more time–this time in a Christian wedding in Baguio City.
Gumabao and Panlilio first held a Catholic wedding ceremony last month at the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Makati.

“I’m Christian, so we really intended to have a Christian wedding. But then Aldo’s family is Catholic, so they also wanted a Catholic ceremony. So we agreed to have both,” Gumabao said two weeks ago shortly after a PVL game just two days after their first wedding ceremony.
The two wedding ceremonies culminated the couple’s relationship of nine years as they began dating back in 2016. They got engaged in 2024.
“It’s the beginning of forever for Michele and Aldo,” wrote Mayad Studios in a same-day edit of the Panlilio’s second wedding celebration.

Gumabao’s Creamline teammates Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos, fellow volleyball players, her brother Marco and his partner and celebrity figure Cristine Reyes were among those in attendance.
Just like after her first wedding, Gumabao is expected to return to action right away for Creamline Cool Smashers in the PVL as they begin their quarterfinals campaign.
