The rise in ranks came on the heels of Gilas Women’s 3×3 squad successfully won Stop 5 of the Fiba 3×3 Youth Nations League in Doha, Qatar, on Monday after beating Chinese Taipei in the final round, 21-14.

The women’s 3×3 squad also qualified for the Fiba U23 World Cup in September after tallying a combined 604,639 points.
