“Gilas Pilipinas Men are putting in the work in a short training camp in Pampanga in preparation for FIBA Asia Cup,” the SBP wrote in an Instagram post.
Present at the short camp were coaches Tim Cone, Richard Del Rosario, and Jong Uichico.
Also in attendance were Ginebra mainstays Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, Jamie Malonzo, Troy Rosario, RJ Abarrientos, and naturalized player Justin Brownlee.

Korean Basketball League standouts Kevin Quiambao and Carl Tamayo also took part in practice, alongside Japan B.League regulars AJ Edu and Dwight Ramos.
Meralco star Chris Newsome, who recently tied the knot with longtime partner Cam Lagmay, also took time after his wedding to train with the Nationals.
Expected to join Gilas practice in the coming days are San Miguel Beer’s CJ Perez and June Mar Fajardo, as well as TNT’s Calvin Oftana—all fresh off the PBA Philippine Cup Finals, which concluded Friday night.
The training sessions are in preparation not only for the Fiba Asia Cup but also for Gilas’ anticipated friendly match against the Macau Black Bears on Monday at Araneta Coliseum.
