Raph Trinidad and Eric Ordonez advanced to the semifinals of their respective water events in the 2025 World Games at Sancha Lake Arena on Friday.
Trinidad, the Philippine team’s flag bearer in Thursday’s opening ceremonies, scored 80.20 points in the cable wakeboard event to top his heat and rank third overall among the 10 semifinal qualifiers. Germany’s Max Milde (83) and France’s Loic Deschaux (80.40) led the field.

In wake surf, Ordonez posted 36.67 points to join the semifinal cast in the event where riders are towed by a motorboat. He is set to challenge USA’s Jett Lambert (83.75) and Thailand’s BM Jomboon (80) in Saturday’s round.
The semifinals take place Saturday at the same venue.
