The Philippine men’s national tennis team and the returning Larga Pilipinas cycling series headline this week’s session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Fresh from their promotion to Group III of the Asia Oceania zone, the Davis Cup team will be represented by player Jed Olivarez and Philippine Tennis Association Executive Director Tonette Mendoza. Team captain Ruben Gonzales and fellow player AJ Lim have also been invited to join the discussion, following the postponement of their earlier appearance due to inclement weather.

The other half of the session, which starts at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, will focus on the comeback of Larga Pilipinas after a seven-year hiatus. The six-stage cycling race begins on August 2 and will be discussed by chief commissaire Sunshine Vallejos and Larga Pilipinas president and operations chief Edmund “Snow” Badua.

The weekly public sports forum is presented by San Miguel Corporation, the Philippine Sports Commission, the Philippine Olympic Committee, Milo, Smart/PLDT, and Arena Plus. It is livestreamed on the PSA Facebook page and aired on a delayed basis over Radyo Pilipinas 2 and its official Facebook page.
