MANILA, Philippines—Count Jordan Clarkson as one of the guys rallying behind Gilas Pilipinas in the 2025 Fiba Asia Cup.
Clarkson, who played for Gilas in the 2023 Fiba World Cup, reposted one of the Asia Cup’s posts on Instagram showing support for the Philippine national team.

The New York Knick didn’t necessarily write any long and fancy message on his story repost but eight exclamation points were enough to get his point across.

Clarkson flaunting his support for the Philippines isn’t a fair-weathered thing by any means.
After his stint with Gilas in the World Cup where he powered the Philippines during a hometown run, the former Utah Jazz standout has backed Gilas any way he can to his roots.

For one, he cheered on Kai Sotto on X when the lanky big man played for Orlando in the NBA Summer League in 2024.
Most recently, he also shouted out Dylan Harper, who was selected by San Antonio with the second overall pick in the 2025 Draft.
Harper, the son of NBA notable Ron, has some Filipino roots on his mother’s side.
