MANILA, Philippines—The Letran trio of Deo Cuajao, Mark Omega and Jun Roque will have plenty of responsibilities for the next few days and they’ll be taking it one thing at a time.
For one, the three will be hoping and praying for their names to be called on Sunday for the PBA Season 50 Draft.

“With the Draft coming up, we know we’re one step closer to our dreams of making the PBA but after that, we’ll focus on the NCAA because we need to win that championship this year,” Cuajao told the Inquirer, fresh off Day 2 of the Draft Combine at Ynares Sports Center in Pasig.
“Come Sunday, our focus will be there but after that we’ll be focused more on practice for the season because we want to be champions this year as it can also help us get our contracts,” echoed Omega.
Like the age-old NCAA practice, Cuajao, Omega and Roque threw their hats in the PBA Draft despite having one more year of eligibility at the collegiate level.
Roque, meanwhile, thanked Knights’ coach Allen Ricardo for giving them the freedom to join the Combine outside of team practice.

“I give coach Allen some credit because he gave us some time to focus on this Draft and the Combine but like they said, after Draft day, we’ll focus on Season 101,” he said.
Roque, who made the Mythical Team at the Combine, and Omega will be donning the Letran gear for just one season after transferring from Perpetual Help.
Cuajao, meanwhile, will be acting as a veteran for the Knights, already having played with the Intramuros-based squad last year.
The PBA Season 50 Draft is slated Sunday at Mall of Asia Music Hall.
