Belen also said earlier that this would be her last dance in the UAAP. Both the two-time MVP and Solomon opted to stay and run it back this year amid the clamor to join the first-ever PVL Rookie Draft last year.
The two-time SEA VLeague Best Opposite Spiker of Alas Pilipinas seeks to cherish every moment with her teammates this season and lead by example to pass the torch to the younger Lady Bulldogs.
“Every single game ibibigay namin yung best namin para ma-motivate yung mga maiiwan namin lalo na maraming bata para masanay din sila sa sarili nila and maging confident sila na pag nakikita nila yung ates nila na maganda yung ginagalaw mainspire sila,” Solomon said.

The NU lifer, a product of Nazareth School, believes the future of their women’s team is bright even when she and Belen graduates with the core of Arah Panique, Vange Alinsug, Alexa Mata, and rookie Celine Marsh in tow.
“Confident ako kasi pare parehas lang naman kami ng tinetraining it’s up to them kung pano sila magkeep up sa skils lalo na pare parehas ng pinapagawa si coach She dapat once na may lumabas, dapat same pa din [yung level],” she said.
Solomon seeks to win every game in her swan song season while also wishing everyone a healthy year.
“Siguro ipanalo yung every game,” she said. “Sana healthy lahat kasi dalawang araw ang daming naiinjure yun lang talaga yung wish ko.”
