MANILA, Philippines—Filipino gymnasts, led by two-time Olympian Carlos Yulo, have arrived at the Olympic Village in France ahead of the Paris Summer Games, which officially opens on Friday (Saturday in Manila).
The Olympic Village is expected to house more than 14,000 athletes.
Yulo, Aleah Finnegan and Emma Malabuyo posted about their arrival on social media on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Yulo is among the first Filipino athletes who will first plunge into action in the Paris Games along with boxer Eumir Marcial and rower Joanie Delgaco.
The Philippines has 22 bets competing in nine sports in Paris.
Levi Jung-Ruivivar rounds out the Philippine gymnastics Olympic team.
Yulo, a world champion in floor exercise in 2019 and vault in 2021, hopes to redeem himself on the Olympic stage after failing to live up to expectations at the Tokyo Games three years ago.
