The FiberXers rolled their sleeves defensively in the third quarter, limiting Ginebra to just 13 points in the third period to turn the tide.
Ginebra leaned on Justin Brownlee’s 39 points and 10 rebounds, but the resident import was unable to fend off Converge’s fightback. Maverick Ahanmisi and RJ Abarrientos added 15 and 11 points, respectively, for the Gin Kings, who squandered their hot start after a dominant second quarter.
