MANILA, Philippines—After enjoying a 2-0 lead, TNT coach Chot Reyes admits that momentum has now shifted in Ginebra’s favor with the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals series tied at 2-2.

Ginebra pushed the best-of-seven series back to square one after defeating the Tropang Giga, 106-92, in Game 4 on Sunday.

“We’re in best-of-three. We’re now on zero-zero, best of three and definitely, they have the momentum,” said Reyes.

The Gin Kings have started to find ways to break down the defense after TNT held them to under 90 points in the first three games. They breached the hundred-point mark on Sunday, which definitely wasn’t a good look for the Tropang Giga.

“Their five guys combined for a hundred points and they’re just five. They’re really finding their groove, they’ve been able to make great reads of their offense and execute it well,” explained the veteran tactician.

If Sunday was any indication, TNT needs to regain its stellar defense to avoid scoring spurts from the Ginebra camp.

“We should be able to play better defense, we need our other guys and especially our bench to step up in hopes of being better,” Reyes said.
