Rookie Mark Nonoy sizzled for a conference-high 33 points as Terrafirma finished off another miserable campaign by getting its lone win in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the expense of erstwhile leader TNT, 117-108, Wednesday at Ynares Center in Antipolo City.
The 10th overall pick in the draft had five triples while also knocking down two from the four-point land as the Dyip pulled away in the second half, led by a high of 31 on their way to avoiding a 0-12 campaign in the midseason tournament.

Rain or Shine was playing Barangay Ginebra in the nightcap.
The disappointing setback came on the heels of the Tropang Giga’s impressive 91-86 triumph over Barangay Ginebra in the first meeting of both teams since the Governors’ Cup Finals.
Efforts by import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who scored 41 points on top of 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and four blocks before fouling out went for naught.
Hollis-Jefferson and the Tropang Giga trailed 49-48 in the second before the Dyip went on a blitz to go into halftime up 61-50.
But Nonoy and Terrafirma would continue the momentum into the third and extend the margin all the way up to 103-72 in the payoff period.
