MANILA, Philippines–While the PBA Philippine Cup Finals are ongoing, Rain or Shine is already making moves this offseason.
Following their semifinals exit at the hands of TNT, the Elasto Painters have added some much-needed veteran talent in the form of Stanley Pringle.

Rain or Shine announced the signing on Tuesday morning.
“We’re excited to announce that the former No. 1 overall pick in 2014 and four-time PBA champion is joining the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters after signing a two-year deal as a free agent,” the team said in a statement.
“With his talent and championship experience, he will be a valuable addition to the team as we chase greater heights in Season 50.”
Pringle’s contract with Terrafirma expired following the Dyip’s forgettable Philippine Cup run. With the team’s uncertain status for Season 50, Pringle’s deal was not renewed, making him a free agent.
Rain or Shine’s signing of the former Barangay Ginebra standout comes just days after the team parted ways with Francis Escandor and Mark Borboran.
The Elasto Painters will now enjoy the services of Pringle, who averaged 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game in his most recent stint with Terrafirma.
