Galeries Tower coach Lerma Giron is urging her players to stay consistent and focus on the details as they face Chery Tiggo in a knockout match in the PVL on Tour on Saturday at Dasmariñas Arena in Cavite.
The HighRisers have put up a gallant stand in every game but have yet to translate that into a win, losing all five of their Pool A matches.

Galeries now has one more shot at advancing to the preseason playoffs, taking on Chery Tiggo at 6:30 p.m. The winner will Earn a quarterfinal berth against Nxled.
“We just need to be patient and focus on what we can control, like our attitude, how we respond, and being consistent with the small things,” Giron told the Inquirer in Filipino.
After a winless preliminary round, Giron is preaching patience to the HighRisers, who are led by No. 2 overall pick Jean Asis along with Ysa Jimenez, France Ronquillo, Jewel Encarnacion, Roselle Baliton, and setter Ivy Perez.
“That’s usually where we mess up. We want instant results. And when things don’t turn out the way we expect, we get disappointed and end up stopping,” said Giron.
“We really need to focus more on taking consistent small steps and paying attention to the details first. The results will come after,” she added.
Galeries is hoping to pull off another surprise run like it did in the All-Filipino Conference, where it upset No. 3 Cignal to Earn an outright quarterfinal berth—the franchise’s first PVL playoff appearance despite a sluggish first-round showing.
