MANILA, Philippines—Veteran center Rafi Reavis has officially retired after a 23-year PBA career.
The Hotshots announced Reavis’ retirement on social media on Monday.

“We are grateful to have learned from you and to have been part of your life. You will always be a part of ours. It’s an honor to have played alongside you Rafi,” the team wrote in a statement.
“We wish you all the best and we are very much excited for you as you take on the next chapter of your career. Thank you Capt. Rafi!”
Reavis won 11 PBA championships and was a three-time All-Star. He was a second overall pick by the defunct Coca-Cola Tigers in the 2002 PBA Draft. He played four seasons with the Tigers and helped them win a couple of titles.
The 48-year-old Reavis, then joined Barangay Ginebra from 2006 to 2009 before finding his home with the Purefoods franchise, a team he played for from 2009 to 2025.

Reavis won seven championships with Purefoods, including a rare Grand Slam in 2014.
His other accolades include a Most Improved Player award in 2003 and an All-Defensive Team selection in 2018.
In his last outing with the Hotshots, Reavis helped Magnolia make the Philippine Cup playoffs with an 8-3 record.
Reavis’ retirement followed a shock departure from standout William Navarro and the surprise signing of LA Tenorio as Magnolia’s newest head coach, ushering in a new era in Purefoods basketball.
