Six teams–including two visiting teams–battle it out in the 2025 PVL Invitational Tournament from August 21 to 31.
PVL on Tour semifinalists Creamline, PLDT, Chery Tiggo and Cignal slug it out alongside guest squads Kurashiki Ablaze, the 2023 champions, and debuting Kobe Shinwa University from Japan.
Teams play in a single-round elimination round with the top two disputing the Invitational championship in a winner-take-all Final.
As agreed upon by the teams, the results of the PVL on Tour semifinals matchups between Creamline and PLDT, and Chery Tiggo and Cignal, will be carried over to the Invitationals.
PLDT and Chery Tiggo, which faced off in the one-off Final last Sunday, will then start off with a 1-0 cards while Creamline and Cignal carry 0-1 records.
