MANILA, Philippines — PVL clubs Petro Gazz, Creamline, and PLDT are set to banner the host country in the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League, which kicks off on Easter Sunday and runs until April 27 at Philsports Arena.
The three PVL teams have enlisted high-level reinforcements for the continental tilt. Creamline signed Kazakh middle blocker Anastassiya Kolomoyets, Russian spiker Anastasiya Kudryashova, and returning American import Erica Staunton. Petro Gazz brought in American outside hitter Gia Day, while PLDT tapped Cuban veteran Wilma Salas.
Drawn into separate pools, the Philippine teams begin their group stage campaigns this week, playing one game each.
The top two teams per group will advance to the knockout quarterfinals on April 24 and 25, with the Final scheduled for April 27.

Creamline Cool Smashers lead Pool A alongside Kazakhstan powerhouse Zhetysu VC and Jordan’s Al Naser Club, while PVL All-Filipino champion Petro Gazz Angels anchor Pool B with Taiwan’s Taipower and Hong Kong’s Hip Hing.
Meanwhile, PLDT High Speed Hitters land in a stacked Pool D with Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC and Australia’s Queensland Pirates.
