MANILA, Philippines—Gilas Pilipinas Youth coach LA Tenorio will have ample talents to work with in the upcoming Fiba U16 Asia Cup Seaba Qualifiers later this month.
The Philippines’ Under-16 team, which will enjoy home court advantage with the games set in Pampanga, will be composed of several talents from across the country, specifically from the UAAP.

In the 18-man roster released by Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas, Gilas Youth will have its disposable several members of the Season 87 Junior High School champion squad, University of the East, namely standouts Goodluck Okebata, Carl Delos Reyes, Brian Orca and Jolo Pascua.
The team will also have members of the UAAP finalist squad, University of Santo Tomas, in the form of Nickson Cabañero.
More UAAP talents banner the pool including Sacred Toring and Clark Khobuntin from the National University-Nazareth School, Prince Carino and Chris Miranda from Far Eastern University-Diliman and Jhustin Hallare from University of the Philippines Integrated School.

Everaigne Cruz from San Sebastian, Jhello Lumague from Letran, John Restificar from Perpetual Help and Samuel Esomchi from La Salle-Greenhills, meanwhile, represent the NCAA.
Rounding out the Gilas Youth roster are Travis Pascual from Santolan High, Jeremiah Antolin from St. Augustine-Pampanga, Ethan Tan-Chi from Faith Academy and Rajver Sidhu from Lyceum Northwestern University.
The final roster for the games will come from the 18-man pool.
Gilas Pilipinas Youth begins its Seaba Qualifiers campaign against Vietnam on May 24 at 7 pm at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.
